Safeguarding information for children

Every child has the right to be safe from harm and danger.

Every adult at Mawnan School has a responsibility to ensure you are safe at home and school. We will always listen to you and do everything we can to help.

If you have a worry or a problem that you can’t fix on your own, it’s a good idea to speak to an adult you trust.

Telling someone you need help isn’t always easy, but every adult at Mawnan School cares about you and has the time to listen to you.  If you are not sure how to start the conversation then you can write a note asking to talk to someone. You could put your note in the worry box which is checked by Miss Pridmore twice a day or put your note in your class ‘I wish my teacher knew’ box. We are ready to listen.

Miss Pridmore and MIss Blight  have the specific job of keeping children and families safe.
